Extract pages from a PDF

Start with an ordinary, unencrypted PDF up to 10 MB and 500 pages. This tool makes one new PDF from your selected pages. It does not change the source file.

1. Choose a PDF on the tool page. Read the displayed page count.
2. Enter the page numbers or ranges you want. For pages 2, 3 and 4, enter 2-4. For those pages followed by page 8, enter 2-4, 8.
3. Choose Create my PDF. The result summary lists the output order.
4. Review the result and download the new PDF. Open the saved file in your usual PDF reader before sharing it.

Printed page numbers can differ

The tool counts actual file pages starting at 1, including cover pages and front matter. A printed label such as “iii” or “page 1” may not match the file position. Check the source PDF in a reader first.

One output, rather than many files

A selection such as 1-3, 8-9 creates one five-page PDF. Creating a separate file for every page is outside this version.
